A native Texan, Luis Rey is an American singer and songwriter known for his passionate and dynamic vocals and his ability to write thought-provoking songs that capture the human experience and spirit.

Rey has used his various life experiences to shape his voice and presence, and his passion and emotion are undeniable in the way he performs as the consummate artist.

He is scheduled to release 2 singles in early 2026 followed by a highly anticipated project, The Villain, which is a raw, acoustic driven work that details a painful part of his life journey.

On the horizon is his plan to release an extensive amount of music, much like a card dealer deals cards or a seer lays out the future. Following the 2 singles and The Villain the rest of the songs will build out albums and EPs over time…one song at a time, with each song detailing different aspects of life as it unfolds: One song to The Phoenix, one song to The Lover, one song to The Rock Star, one song to The Statesman, and more…and so it will go…and so we will see what else Rey has up his sleeve.

As a highly versatile writer, and with several cuts from independent artists in Americana, Country, and Pop, Rey has scored major independent label cuts, and most notably with the band The Desert City Ramblers and their Top 30 single, Comin’ Home.
